Monster girls are just so cute, and still i feel they don't have the right recognition on this site. I'm not saying that we don't like them... we do, a lot. But sometimes it's easy to forget some good authors who have dedicated their lives to these lovely creatures. Ahobaka doesn't fail to deliver extremely good contents.
After sailing in search for adventure, a guy is involved in a bad shipwreck near an area allegedly infested by demons. I seriously doubt that those mute, tailed, fish-like monster cuties are the kind of demons he was expecting; in any case they save his life and bring him to an hidden place, where he's bound to be their soulmate and also just... mate. Yeah, I'm trying to be sad for him but I really can't. Neither is him.
Aho lines are soft and clean, aiming for a cute and perky look for his creatures. Maybe there's a little too much screening here, but I'm just trying to be really picky; the thing is that shadows work wonder on their body making them look shiny and wet, but if everything looks like that then it's a little wasted.
On a side note, I wonder if they will live a wonderful and happily incestuous life as long as he's alive, and as usual that brings other questions, like: does their kind have males or it's a strictly female population (like most of the monster girls as far as I know)? How lucky will be the next guy to be shipwrecked near there? Can I be that guy, please?
P.S. I've noticed that Blogger (then Google) sometimes removes (I prefer the word censors) some of the pictures completely at random (at random, seriously) without even notify us in any way, and keeps removing those ones even if reuploaded (like saying fuck you in particular). So... we unfortunately have to deal with it, even if is (obviously) perfectly fine material utilized within the limits of fair use (that I understand doesn't mean absolutely nothing). This is what I call living the lolicon dream; an incredible manga set between an alternate realistic world and a fantasy one filled with something very close to monster girls. I'm not really sure that the many stories contained in this book are all taking place in the same universe, but it's extremely plausible. It is a world extremely licentious about sex, but not so much to be implausible, where humans, animals and an interesting kind of hybrids live together.
Each story has it's own taste depending especially on the family that takes care of the anthropomorphized animal in that chapter. The line between what is and what isn't human is also subtle and ambiguous, as the cute pets differences range from a pair of (apparently) fake ears to supernatural characteristics.
While mantaining a good standard, I had the feeling that the stories slowly decline in both concept and art; the side effect being an easier access to the last chapters at the cost of a worse storytelling and originality of the situations. Maybe the author wanted to captivate the reader with deep characterization and sad/humorous stories and then, after delivering some feelings, just let him proceed with a good old masturbation without distracting him too much. Or maybe he just got lazyer halfway... it happens to me a lot! By the way, the result is an enjoyable blend that can be crowned with several orgasms.
Saizou is more known for his other works as Gesuigai (aka Drainage City) or Niku no Ana (aka The Hole of the Flesh) that i cannot recommend unless you're into really messed up stuff (it's not snuff and I don't want to sound derogatory, it's just really weird and definitely not for anyone). In this manga you can appreciate his fine drawing skills and just the right touch of bizarre. The five stars are in my opinion well deserved also for his capability to create cute loli and scenes without resorting to easy eye-candy tricks; daring to include several details that are usually hard to find in other erotic works.

So I suppose you like to see pretty girls being abused, or else I can not explain why the previous Victim Girls review is the most popular one on this site since it came out. Doujins that bring the sign of Fatalpulse are distinguished by a misogynistic mood, which is also reflected by the very nature of his characters. While it's obviously a controversial topic that should be carefully analyzed in its real manifestations, here I will consider only its fictional value. Like many other human behaviours, it's interesting to see their extreme effects portrayed in a world where they are harmless and can be exploited for -surprise surprise- entertaining purposes.
Like many other MMORPG, in the world of TERA there's a lack of endgame contents, a situation metaphorically represented by the events in this book. Charlotte, Lord of Loscadia, is an unbeatable Elin champion growing tired and bored by her life now devoid of any real emotion; the feeling of defeat, she thinks, might awaken the long lost excitement. The situation is outlined very well and the author take its time to let us know Charlotte and empathize with her. Now, take a bunch of cute girls with animal ears and imagine them as voluntary slaves of a group of orcs. Here's where you need to make a little leap of faith, thinking them as volunteers in a place where they are used as mating/breeding companions and eventually as livestock.
The doujin is also very explicit in its intentions. While it actually doesn't contain any kind of guro (unless you consider guro some casual monster slaying), there are many references to it and the emotional bonding could kill the mood to many.
Asanagi give it's best to create a full immersion for the reader. TERA world comes alive in every scene thanks to the rich backgrounds and an obsessive attention to detail. Elins are cute as always and the only males you'll see are the monsters abusing them. Not an easy reading, but a great one indeed.
